What’s this?

Hey! Chris here, your guitar tutor. I’ve put together this updated Privacy Policy to make it easier to read and understand, all as part of the new GDPR law.

As a private guitar tutor, I’m committed to maintaining the trust and confidence of my students. In particular, I want you to know that I’m not in the business of selling, renting or trading email lists or phone numbers with other companies and business for marketing purposes. Here you’ll find information on when and why I collect your personal information, how I use it, the limited conditions under which I may disclose it to others and and how I keep it secure.

Types of data I collect

I may store your personal information with Acuity, a Squarespace-owned platform I use to send you automated appointment reminders and confirmations. They have their own Privacy Policy which you can read here: https://www.squarespace.com/privacy

If you choose to pay by card, this will be securely processed through Zettle (in person) or Stripe (via the Squarespace appointment system), but we will never share sensitive information or your payment details.

Access to your personal information

Under GDPR, you are entitled to view, amend, or delete the personal information that I hold. Please use the contact page to do this.

Changes to this Privacy Policy

This Privacy Notice will be reviewed on an annual basis, and was last updated on 28th March 2024.
